Near Infrared Dyes

Crysta-Lyn Chemical Company has developed a series of NIR absorbing dyes that range from 700 nm to over 1000 nm. These select near infrared dyes are highly absorbing across the near infrared spectrum (>700 nm). Most dyes are made to order, however, several high volume products are held in stock. Each product description shows the absorption maximum, keep in mind that the peak broadness may vary between products. To ensure you get a peak shape that you want, a UV/Vis spectrum is shown for each product. The dyes are used primarily as thin films, coatings and inks for use with applications related to: IR blocking, laser absorbing, thermal transfer, bioimaging, nanomaterials, optoelectronics, photovoltaics and more. The dyes are listed based on the solvent tested in, altering the solvent can alter the absorbing wavelength of the dye.
